Can I transfer my existing domain to CKC Technologies?
Yes. We can transfer .co.uk, .uk, .com and most other domains from your current registrar. We’ll check the DNS records first so your website and email keep working during the move.
Do I need to buy an SSL certificate if my site is hosted with you?
Usually not. Every website we host includes a free, auto-renewing SSL certificate. A paid certificate is useful if you need wildcard cover for many subdomains, extended business validation, or SSL for a site hosted elsewhere.
What’s the difference between web hosting and a cloud server?
Managed web hosting is ideal for most business websites — we look after the platform for you. A cloud server gives you dedicated, scalable CPU, memory and storage for busier sites, web apps or custom workloads.
