Crumb is made by one person, so replies usually arrive within a day or two. Please include:

What device and iOS version you’re on (Settings → General → About)

What version of Crumb you have (Settings tab inside the app, at the bottom)

What you were trying to do, and what happened

Common questions

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device, in Crumb’s own private folder. Nothing is uploaded, shared, or synced. If you delete the app, everything you saved in Crumb is gone with it.

Not right now. Crumb is intentionally on-device only – no accounts, no cloud. Your Crumb data is included when you back your device up to iCloud or a Mac, so restoring a backup brings it with you.

Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used originally, then open Crumb → Settings → Unlock Crumb Pro → Restore purchase. The purchase will be verified with Apple and Pro will be unlocked on the new device. There’s no separate account to sign into.

Make sure you’re signed into the App Store with the Apple ID you purchased with.

Try Restore purchase on the paywall.

If it still fails, email me with the Apple ID email you used and a screenshot of the paywall and I’ll look into it.

Tap the crumb to open its edit sheet, or long-press it in the list to bring up a menu with Edit, Move, and Delete. The edit sheet has a Delete Crumb button at the bottom.

On the People tab, tap the calendar-plus icon in the top right and choose Add occasion for all. Pick the date and select which people it applies to – everyone is checked by default. To edit or remove a shared occasion later, use the same menu → Manage shared occasions.

Reminders are local notifications. Check:

iOS Settings → Notifications → Crumb → Allow Notifications is on.

Inside Crumb → Settings → Occasion reminders is on.

The occasion has a date within your notification lead time (Settings → Remind me).

Send me an email. I keep a running list and read every note – Crumb’s small enough that user suggestions genuinely shape what I build next.

Email a short description plus the details listed under Contact above. If you can reproduce the issue, a step-by-step (“I tapped X, then Y, then this happened”) helps me fix it faster.

Refunds for Crumb Pro are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Request one at [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com) with the receipt Apple emailed you at purchase.

The full privacy policy is at the link on Crumb’s App Store page and in the Settings screen inside the app. Short version: nothing you save in Crumb leaves your device.
